| On 12 June 2025, COPE will host the 17th edition of its Annual International Conference in Malta, in partnership with Mid-Dlam għad-Dawl. This year’s focus: understanding and dismantling the stigma children face when a parent is imprisoned. Stigma linked to parental imprisonment is shaped by broader societal structures. It can reinforce inequality, isolate children and have lasting effects.
