Paediatric counselling service and expanded social work, financial and legal counselling

SAVN has established a pediatric counselling service for imprisoned parents in six detention centres in Denmark. So far the service has directly benefitted 300 imprisoned parents, as well as 450 children. Moreover, in 2020, SAVN has initiated the expansion of its support network. The telephone helpline, in addition to providing families of prisoners with pediatric counselling, now features social, legal, and financial support.
